If you believe a law change is going to break your current lawset (e.g. Urist McNukeop is C4ing into your upload) you are fully within your rights to attempt to prevent it. If it's more reasonable, such as the RD changing your lawset, it's probably to no one's benefit to prevent it.
Just follow your current laws to the best of your ability, and keep in mind that 'crew harm' must be physical in nature and directly apparent in how it can happen to count under Law 1 of Crewsimov.
