Character interactions that made you happy!

Hello everyone!! I'd love it if we could collect little snippets of life here on funky station that made you happy! I feel like we might focus a bit too much on violence or combat when we talk about the game, so I hope this might spread a bit of positivity and encourage more positive roleplay!!
I'll try to post my own experiences when they happen!

I'll start:
I had a lovely interaction with Plays-On-Puter yesterday where I got to take a little break from security work and played some NT Block Game with an enthusiastic new friend! Karafuru got to try something new and it was really sweet when Plays-On-Puter praised Kara for her latent stacking abilities.

Jeepers i dont need to mention this one then but i have another interaction from that same shift:

Plays-on-Puter is near-sighted so she can only see so far (she stares at screens so much it's damaged her eyes) and she wandered into the bar and asked the bartender "where puter games", Eleanor Twiling (bartender) led her all around the station to find the arcade for her. their player is actually my friend ooc but she had no clue that i was Plays-on-Puter and it was really sweet

one time some moth roaches came into my chemlab and started drinking chemicals so i told them off and layed out spare clothes and water for the to eat and drink. they soon became department mascots and it was very joyfull.

I recently played a short mouse round! Where the librarian let me run around and eat paper, and then we went out to grab a MRE flask for me to drink out of! That divolved into "mouse(insert numbers) chugs" and two other person joined in saying "CHUG CHUG CHUG CHUG!" It was very silly and fun to witness

I was playing as a RD on lower population. I joined in late and was doing things as normal. Suddenly someone comes up to me and requests my attention. They pull me aside to a table hidden in the hallway. They have a briefcase...I open it and there's like 50k spesos sitting inside of it. I was told that I could have it all as long as I cryoslept instead of getting on the Evac....of course I did it, I took the briefcase with me into cryosleep before we evacced. Fun little alternate interaction for completing a syndie objective 🙂

literally SO MANY but a few that come to mind right now:

sometimes when i don't have the time/energy to play full rounds i really like hopping in as an observer and just playing random animals. when i was still really new(i think this was just after my first round, like... ever) some people died and were talking about coming back as skeletons in chat. they told me to play a mothroach and find them. so i played a mothroach, but when i spawned in as a mothroach, i was on the captain(Chelle Koi)'s head already!! I proceeded to spend the next hour as Chelle's pet mothroach named Muffin, who was given cool sunglasses and occasionally chimed in on their captainly decisions with a chitter. On evac, Chelle made me a bed with a little shark plushie in the bridge and was ready to start blasting when someone picked me up and threw me ajdasjffsk
An incredibly silly round with Alice Gibbles, Bob Bob, Melan Kelp and a borg where Bob Bob (clown) kidnapped us all in a box and started to run around the station. We stumbled into a secret room in Maints and found a hidden heretic circle! We decided to wait in a corner, all inside our stupid little cardboard box, and wait for the heretic to come back and jumpscare them. We then proceeded to spend the next 30 minutes whispering the dumbest plan ever while giggling about how stupid of an idea this was in LOOC chat and just in general having some really funny interactions. In the end, it turned out the heretic overheard us and just never came back and made a new circle elsewhere. 😭 it was still so much fun either way
A week or so ago a captain who I unfortunately do not remember the name of made me a custom gold ID that said "Awesome Bartender" after we had some really nice talks over drinks and it made Ellie very happy IC and me very happy OOC. :3

in general, no specific people, rather everyone; i struggle with really bad social anxiety irl and this game and server has genuinely helped me so much!! just know that miss eleanor is always very appreciative every time people stop at the bar for a chat(:

I had a lovely thief round last night where I was a tider (not sure how I had tider turned off) I then was trying to get the bible off the Chaplin so i went with the plan of become a Chaplin to get it so after a little bit of asking I convinced chap and cap to let me become a Chaplin in training he showed me the ways of being a Chaplin like stealing stuff out of maints for the chapel and throwing unsavory objects out into space (which almost ended in my death) we then went to cargo to gamba because Atmos had made cargo rich and the chap managed to steal like 10k without being noticed off the gambling trip then right as evac got there he officially made me the chap as he said he was gonna retire and then gave me Annable and the bible 11/10 best rp I had in a long time

I normally try to enhance other's rounds more than having insanely memorable rounds myself. But some of my favorite interactions come from when someone hunts me down to give me pirate clothes (please keep doing this), and the comical Cargo Sigh when they see Melan ringing the bell.

I don't wanna do just one, so I'll make a list. No particular order just order of when my brain remembered them:

Kip and Sal laying in the station grass looking up at the ceiling having a nice little talking moment about self worth, letting people down, names, clouds, and lifting each other up.
Clara and Sal forever now slow-blinking at each other when they see one another after a therapy session the two kind of had with each other. They discussed how cat-like Sal was and if they had other cat-like mannerisms, such as slow blinking for signs of affection.
Licks-The-Floor's first shifts as Janitor, with me teaching them the ropes and the first ever shift together at the end of the round they saved my life. I had gotten stuck behind a firelock and spaced location during Evac, so everyone was vacated. Licks-The-Floor just so happens to walk up with a crowbar, saving my life as we escape to Evac together.

Any and all shenanigans with Sal and Eats. As Eats is basically just Sal's honorary and permanent patient. Love trying to find acceptable foods and floor liquids for my "hinted" changeling friend.
Any situation with Marwan, but the one where my "AI program trained off my character" borg S.A.L. and him had a conversation about my character and the borg hoping they could live up to someone else's image was sweet.
Cargonia beating the shit out of the dinosaurs the syndicates had. That was so fun.

I have many more but these are the ones I directly remember right now.

Some of my favorite memories are from late joining as an animal;

One round I joined as a mouse and ended up befriending the bar, kitchen and botany. The bartender named me Whiskey and I spent the round being the cutest mouse ever and trying to make everyone's day. I kept accidentally stepping in mouse traps but it was okay cause my friends were there to save me! Also fun fact! If you put a mouse in a chef hat and put it on your head it can control you! I'm bad at remembering names but Kaien was a bartender and Lynn was a chef.
Another round I joined as Hamlet and went to the bar for water. I noticed the bartenders were sad they had such little customers so I asked for a top hat and went advertising in the hallway and boosted customers for the bar with my awesome hamster dance moves. I also got interviewed by Burns and Spongi for their awesome TV show. The bartender was Sierra, such a nice person!

Not really a moment but more of just a day, during Christmas I didn't have a lot of folks over so I chose to play Funky that day and it's probably been one of my better christmases just the vibes and everything made me feel like I belonged.

Also cause cargo for a round had to pass out presents while Loki was QM and that was really fun.

I still remember the first time I met Clothes. I loved the concept of a moth barkeep who‘d exchange drinks for clothes, despite working security (meaning I only went to the bar for water every so often) I made sure to drop by extra when I saw them working the counter. Sometimes I wouldn’t even get a drink just say hello, hand them some clothes, and leave. Also they were the first person I had actively engaged with across multiple rounds beyond working alongside them (We had just said that we knew each other before getting on the station). So it was a very fun positive experience that made me appreciate and would be the catalyst for me engaging with the community more.

I haven't played Flatlines for as long as some of you have had your characters, but I've had some great moments

I distinctly remember around a week ago Linton gave me a 10/10 rating as a captain as NT rep after interviewing all the heads, and honestly it made me very happy to see. Drinking together in my mini-bar after than was fun too, it was fun to just talk and chill. Most of why I love playing captain is getting to talk and interact with so many people.

marin has a lot of really fun moments it's so hard to pick TwT i'll definitely never forget the one round that coincided with me getting my wheelchair funded though, marin was blown up and was being surgically restructured and i had to tell my surgeon i needed to ssd briefly to cry LMAO when i came to, the HoP gave me a shark plush and a note congratulating me on hitting my goal ;w; i had to quit fr shortly after bc i was such an emotional wreck but i think the like. comradery of strangers thru characters really shines

more recently with sydney knapp, my mute brigmed: i was working a shift w/ another brigmed and beru stopped by to show us a picture rather urgently and it was a shitty ascii emoji of a guy giving a thumbs up. the other brigmed screamed and chased him all the way to evac while i was left cackling in the other room

Yesterday I was playing on an alternate character from Jeepers or Kara. I was playing engineer and wanted to try my hand at shuttle building. Occasionally getting called into work and having to make all the parts by hand (no flat packing at the time) made it awfully slow going. While talkin on the radio, an atmos tech decided to help me build my shuttle and we had a great time talking about how best to expand and modify the design. Even though we went home on the evac shuttle as soon as we had docking and atmos on board, we both seemed to have a lot of fun! I think that was GORK? Thanks for the fun shift hon!!

Yesterday I joined as an assistant and didn't know what to do until I found a bag with a bunch of action figures. I then had the idea of having a puppet show so I collected as many figures as I could find and took to the stage. As I was setting up the reporter spotted me and said they would do an advertisement for the show! I ended up having two shows throughout the shift with pretty big turnouts! Everyone reacting to the ad-libbed stories I was making was such a fun experience. People were cheering and crying at all the crazy twists I was coming up with. Just goes to show that you really can do whatever in this game, I hope everyone enjoyed my little shenanigan. :3
