Started being aggressive with another player after a situation and began insulting them in LOOC.
After the round ended, in the lobby, they kept saying,
'Fuck you, Edward Meyers.'
Then, after being warned in ahelps, they pinged the player in the Discord server to complain and shout at them."*
What led up to the ban:
At the start of the round, I was roaming maintenance, eating every strange pill I found. Eventually, I ate one that caused me to go into crit and die instantly. My body was left in maintenance for too long and became rotten, so I decided to ghost role as Pun Pun.
There were no command staff in the round, so I thought it would be a fun RP idea to act as "Command Punny." A borg on the station agreed to this if I helped catch any clowns. I requested that the borg bring me to the brig, and they agreed. I sat in the brig for about five minutes until an anomaly spawned there.
Then, a scientist named Edward Meyers arrived and killed the anomalies. While he was in the brig, I had the borg open the captain’s office for me. I took the captain’s ID, but to my surprise, I was immediately flashed and cuffed by Edward Meyers, who had a flash and cuffs in his bag—clear powergaming. He then said, "I'm not going to let you hire yourself as captain."
I accepted this and Told Him To put the captain's ID back. However, instead of leaving And putting back, Edward stayed in the brig for no apparent reason And Refused To Return it. Soon after, a zombie outbreak was announced. I thought, "Okay, there are zombies, so surely I should get something to protect myself with." I attempted to break into the captain’s locker to get the saber, but before I could, Edward flashed me again, cuffed me, and stole all of the captain’s gear right in front of me.
That made me incredibly frustrated. He had just refused to let me take the captain’s ID and hire myself, yet he went ahead and did exactly that. He took the captain’s laser and then uncuffed me. I was so angry that I started attacking him with an axe. He responded by shooting me with the laser until I died.
After the round ended, I pinged him in the Discord server, explaining why I thought he was in the wrong, but I also insulted him in the process.
Why you should be unbanned:
I admit that I went overboard with my toxicity, and I regret how I handled the situation. However, I feel that the ban was somewhat unfair, considering I was previously banned for carrying a butcher knife as a medical intern, while Edward had taken the captain’s ID before the zombie outbreak even began.
I fully acknowledge my mistakes and would appreciate a second chance to prove that I can follow the server's rules and maintain a respectful attitude in the future.
