Hi, I pinged you in the Discord and now you're reading this. What the hell is this?
Well, in-short, this is an announcement on something I wanted to do for a long time. Several people want to start projects and down-streams of either Funky or their favorite server, and ultimately don't go anywhere due to issues with infrastructure, hosting, etc.
I want to pay it forward for anyone who wants to give an honest go at creating a fork, by introducing a new program that can help new forks and communities get off the ground.
Starting now, any Funky Station fork or anyone who talks with me about their idea for a new fork will be given support in the form of free infrastructure, database hosting, etc. This means Funky Station covers costs related to hosting Robust.Cdn, Databases, and potentially game-server hosting if it demands it. You will also be posted in our #fork-advertisement channel if you so wish.
There are a few stipulations with this, as follows:
- Your community will not be used as a platform to harbor bigotry.
- You intend to have a reasonable amount of admins to moderate your community.
- You agree to adhere to Wizden's Hub Rules.
