yeah, low pop contributed to that, but it wasnt the only reason why early mrp was so fun. a possible solution? just bring back lrp. this is coming from someone who never enjoyed lrp, too. i can see that it has a market, but when that market was ripped clean out under the players, they all fled into mrp. you clearly have the resources to manage one, which if i recall was the crux of cirno becoming mrp, weekends only.
the funky mrp i see now is indistinguishable from the funky lrp i saw in november, when i first played funky. the only difference, is now i don't have another server to flee to, one that had people putting roleplay over mechanics, one where i was able to actually build a character in this roleplaying game, instead funky has become lrp masquerading as mrp because that title seems to look nicer, so why pretend anymore?
i honestly, sincerely want funky to improve back to the levels it was in december. all that needs to be done, is for this "remove lrp" experiment to end, and quality be enforced on the mrp server.
low pop isnt the solution, it was a result of what amount of people who enjoyed funky's codebase enjoyed RP, and what amount enjoyed mechanics and chaos. both are valid, but attempting to merge the two made both sides unhappy.
