Upon review of this ban we have decided to look into re-evauluating EORG policy and its listed punishments. This ban has been lifted as of this reply.

We as admins try to enforce rules based on the guidelines listed in the Banning Policy. We try to listen to people, be thoughtful, and most of all be professional while doing so.
The Banning Policy does not have to be strictly adhered to. Admins are free to punish offenses outside of the stated guidelines in the Banning Policy as long as they can justify their ruling when asked.
EORG is put under the Griefing category prefaced with
Offences that pertain to a player playing with no intent to roleplay or to explicitly troll other people.

You were banned for shooting fireballs at Central Command, but you claimed that it was an accident and that a ban will not help you or teach you not to do it again, as you didn't mean to do it in the first place because you were paying attention to chat and the ongoing vote.
The fireballs shot by you did not hurt anyone, and only hit a wall. The accident in this case was not intentional trolling or griefing, nor did it have the intent to strip roleplay from others.

While this is EORG, it should have been reduced to a warning.
Admins should remain as professional as possible throughout the Ahelp process, and if they feel like they cant they should have another admin handle the issue at hand.
Andle: I don't think banning me will teach me anything, But if you guys insist.
oBerry: I hope it does, because next time is 3 days, in line with the banning policy
oBerry was not acting professionally. Threatening someone when they call out how an admin is handling a situation is not warranted under any scenario.
You did EORG, but this shouldn't have gone past a warning. The language used in the Ahelp shouldn't have happened either. We will look into changing how EORG is listed in the Banning policy to prevent further issues. Thank you for the Appeal
