Reason: "General OOC Toxicity — Became aggressive toward another player after an in-game situation and started insulting them in LOOC. Continued saying 'Fuck you, Edward Meyers' in the lobby. After being warned in ahelps, took the issue to Discord and pinged the player to continue arguing."
What led up to the ban:
During that round, I was wandering through maintenance, trying out some strange pills I’d found. One of them dropped me into crit instantly, and I ended up rotting after being left alone too long. I later took a ghost role as Pun Pun and tried to make a fun RP twist out of it by acting as “Command Punny,” since there weren’t any heads online. A borg offered to help me out if I helped catch clowns, so I played along and sat in the brig for a while.
Eventually, an anomaly popped up there, and a scientist named Edward Meyers came to deal with it. After that, I asked the borg to let me into the captain’s office, where I grabbed the captain’s ID. Not long after, Edward flashed and cuffed me, saying I couldn’t appoint myself as captain. I didn’t fight him on that—I just asked for him to put the ID back. Instead of putting it back or moving on, he hung around brig and ignored the request.
When a zombie outbreak hit, I went back to the captain’s office, hoping to grab the saber for protection. Before I could, Edward flashed and cuffed me again, then took the saber and all the captain’s gear for himself. That double standard pushed me over the edge. I was frustrated and felt like he was playing unfairly, so I lashed out in-game and attacked him with an axe. He ended up killing me with the captain’s laser.
Unfortunately, I let that frustration bleed into LOOC and Discord, where I insulted him and kept the argument going, which I now realize was completely out of line.
Why I should be unbanned:
I want to take full responsibility for how I acted. My behavior in LOOC and on Discord was inappropriate and went against the standards of the server. At the time, I let my emotions get the better of me, but looking back, I know I should’ve handled it differently—more calmly and respectfully.
It’s been around a month since this happened, and I’ve had time to reflect on what went wrong. Regardless of how I felt about the situation in-game, taking it out in OOC channels was not the way to go. I regret that deeply.
I’m asking for a second chance because I truly enjoy playing on FunkyStation and want to contribute to it in a more positive way. If I’m allowed back, I’ll make sure to manage conflicts properly, follow the rules closely, and treat everyone with respect.
