NAME: FELIX KAY
PSYCHOPARADIGM:
Never quite had a choice to work there.
Never felt claustrophobic by the main halls, like others could say. The walls however, did echo my thoughts. The thick, lifeless metal walls really make you feel dull, well, if you're alone at least.
A Cyborg. Nothing more then 30 Steel, 15 Glass, and a battery. Maybe a bit more if you're adding a brain to make it anything more then a lifeless husk. They always slightly put me off guard, but after working with them for so long, you do manage to get used to them. In fact, sometimes, I can't help but feel... comfort? Adore? Hard to explain, but I sometimes see them as my children.
I climbed the ranks, I worked in nearly every position, even if for a single shift. I managed to make some friends, whom I care about like a family, if that makes sense.
One day, eventually, I was the top of the ranks, no higher then anyone on the station. I send a letter to Central Command. Affirmative I get in return. We began constructing, constructing a ship. Although, I eventually realized we needed other sources of power. I requested our current source to be taken back. Too late. Eventually, the only source we had on the station exploded...
I looked at the paper on EVAC. 950 shifts, $1,000,000. I looked at it in disbelief, I was dumbfounded. I couldn't even bother to glance at a command offer again, let alone Security. I found a hatred from the very company that made me.
Eventually, while shifting through the webs, I saw it. I saw my hope. I joined, unaware of what could have awaited me. They promised me great things, including that paper being tossed. I was hooked like a fish, I couldn't say no, WHY couldn't I say no? Besides, what's the worst that could happen?
...How naive I was.
