Reason for Ban: Raider.
What lead up to the ban: I was pretty new on SS14 at the time, and wanted to do a cause/effect scenario. I heard through friends about tesla looses and singulooses but never actually experienced one until someone told me how they happened. I then ended up joining starlight, messing around with the emitters. And then POOF. Gravitational fields gone. I realized what had happened, as I was told. A "Singuloose." I was frantically trying to figure out how to handle the situation by yelling "Loose!" Over the radio. (This was quite some time ago, please forgive me for any errors.)
Why you should be unbanned: I now have over 1000 hours in SS14, 600 of those are in Starlight. I am well aware of the severity of looses and how they may be taken as. Ex. A Raider, and how they may ruin others round. It is fortunate at the time of this loosing how it went off station.
I'm even an Administrator in the Starlight community now and hate to be branded as a raider in another server. Especially one that I've heard many good things about, and honestly. I want to be given a chance at redemption, I have learned punishments, I have carefully read server rules. Even a ban reduction would suffice. Being staff and learning everything about SS14 has made me reflect on what I've done here, a newbie deciding it was a great idea to see what would happen if I let something station destroying loose. And now realizing the severity of something I ban people for, it just doesn't sit well with me. So here I ask for a second chance. Even if it means a ban reduction I would be happy to take my "Raider" Branding away.
If it means anything, I have also been a member of the discord for ~ 4.5 months.
