To help avoid situations like "WE NEED ELEVENTY THOUSAND LASER RIFLES" shift start and help create an organic relationship between Science and the rest of the station, what if we refactor Cargo bounties so that they're weighted more toward what the station is going to be capable of producing on-site?
Consider: your Science department chooses Civilian as its T3 research discipline. Your bounties should be more likely to be things like mutation-specific crops, advanced mops, cybernetic limbs, what have you.
Your Science department takes Arsenal T3. By all means, bounties should be demanding uranium rounds, truncheons, and x-ray cannons.
You're at roundstart. Your bounties should be simple, "pathless" things that any station could get easily, like printing off some knives or a dozen bananas.
Basically, we should be adding more bounties to the pool as Science progresses and unlocks new things to create, and the bounties we receive should weight more and more in nature toward the discipline Science has researched the most in.
