Reason for Ban: Metafriending, Bad RP, Metagrudging. Favouritism and Exclusion, "gossip" channel.
What lead up to the ban: Nothing, really. I didn't even get any sort of warning, formal or informal. Just got smacked with it.
Why you should be unbanned:
I do acknowledge my practices were pretty rude, especially towards players like Smegy; and I did have favourites/friends. However, I would like to note that as captain, I did my best to promote OTHER people to heads. Also, the "gossip" handheld thing was more meant to be a joke which referenced today's "office-workplace-gossip" culture. However, I did ask others to not use them, which was quite rude. They are, after all, mostly meant for people like salvagers.
While I do understand the error in my ways, I didn't know metafriending was in the rules. However, I was definitely doing it, alongside a bit of metagrudging, even if I was trying to avoid it. As such, I decided to take a break from Funky and try and learn some more on servers with unfamiliar people.
I went to Rouny's Marine Corps, where I honestly did leaps and bounds in not metagrudging. I learned to respect players who made good plays as an antag (well, xenos...), and the blur of faces showed me how I should be thinking of others- consider their character for this round, not the previous ones. After all, you don't have time for that.
I really enjoyed the community on this server, and I'm sorry for harming it with my actions. Whatever you guys decide, I know it will be fair.
