As for the role of the AI when it comes to station security, I've been told in an ahelp that I must PREVENT engagements between Security and Syndicates, by attempting to prevent any firefights. I was closely helping security to apprehend a syndicate agent who had already opened multiple cans of BZ in an attempt to harm more crew, and have already killed an officer. I did so with the thought that by ensuring that Security apprehends or, even incapacitates the agent, that further crew harm would be prevented, even if it would raise crew harm in the present.
I wasn't given any notes for this or anything, but I did want a clarification on if this is the case or not. And if this is the case, then what is the actual role of AI? If they cannot aid in apprehending normal suspects who ARE crew, I feel they're essentially a fancy Life Alert for most rounds, as there is not much to do on most rounds, at least when no nukies are present, which on MRP is quite rare that they are.
I also wanted to ask about the definition of crew, as I had interpreted crew as anyone on the crew monitor, but I'm not exactly sure. I believed originally it was left up to interpretation to handicap you less, but I was told otherwise.
Thanks :3
