Reason for Complaint: I as the HOS was acting after two syndies in juggernaut suits exploded science, killed all of science, my warden, and a paramed. Ne0 as a character is lead to violence outside of the law but for reasons she'd see as proper. Mike, one of the two syndies who killed Chelle, who Ne0 is close to, and bombed science, was suddenly fucking alive and in custody.
Ne0 doesn't like this, Ne0 is incredibly agitated and her sec force is already stretched thin, she doesn't know if there are more threats, she doesn't have a warden to babysit the prisoner, she feels like she's needed to fucking DO shit. So when someone in sec asked her to execute mike, she agrees instantly as that lines up with what she would do, and she doesn't think she has time to wait for auth from centcomm, as there are people running around with command headsets and captain IDs who shouldn't HAVE that, she is fucking busy and needs to put out fires fast to get the station stable. Yes it is against SOP, however SOP is lenient, and I think in that situation it would be reasonable for a character as Ne0 to authorize the execution and skip over the Captain and CC.
Mike attempts to use an implant to EMP Ne0 three times, which only increases her agitation. As I'm setting up to actually execute and waiting for my officer to hold him still, he's running off to medbay for no reason, Fennec hops in OOC chat, and instead of using AHELP to talk to me, which would instantly gain my attention, they go into global OOC to say
"read sop challenge 100% failed :godo: - Cap and CC need to auth a Containable eoc's execution"
"can't believe this needs to be said"
Which I feel is incredibly unprofessional and also a failure.
TLDR: My character is prone to vigilante justice, she is incredibly opinionated and aggressive, and someone who killed her warden (Who she is IC attached to) and all of science. Someone offered the idea of execution, to which my character instantly agrees because it is in character for her, she's going to do it to free up the rest of her officers and herself to patrol the site without worry of an escape and to re-establish stability to the station. She views it as something that must be done without being slowed down by bureaucracy because she does NOT have time for that. Agentfennec instead of using AHelp to talk to me about it vaugely shames me through global OOC about not following SOP, something that is flexible.
I believe this is quite unprofessional.
