This one is slippery. We've caught her more than a few times over the past year, and just about every time we see her, that pacifism implant is nowhere to be found. We're really not sure how she gets rid of it, but we've decided we can't continue to waste any resources trying to keep her imprisoned or implanted. She just keeps finding her way out, like a cat that hates its collar.
In her original NT interview, where she applied for a job on one of our salvage teams, she mentioned an extensive background with solving cold cases and mysteries back in her hometown of [REDACTED], including missing persons, valuable objects, or murders, all before even reaching adulthood. We reached out to the department at [REDACTED] to confirm these claims, and they provided us the documentation to prove they were indeed true. She even has a missing arm and an eye scar from a scuffle she got into with an abductor she busted.
So we gave her these options: Detective work for NT, or execution for her massive list of crimes. Naturally, she chose to live. There isn't much we can do about her sticky fingers, but she could prove a valuable asset to NanoTrasen otherwise. Just keep an eye on your belongings when she's around, they may go missing.
