What lead up to the ban: I left the server very frustrated with staff

Why you should be unbanned: I'm retiring my Awohali characters, they are way too serious and clash way too much with the server's vibe. From inception they were written to be very high friction characters that cause a lot of conflict and strife. I am very attached to them as characters, they are really deep reflections of my lived experiences, but I realize that they don't belong in this environment, and this deep attachment I have just makes that worse.

I still really enjoy the mechanics and design of Funky, the way the mechanics harmonize with the social elements of the game without excessive fluff makes every single round and every role feel like a flavorful melange of possibility and insight, and I've found myself itching to return.

Addendum: I've been clean off Waltuh White for about 7 months at this point. I've made it well past the post-acute withdrawal syndrome stage of the addiction.

I'm just glad I'm not suffering from paranoid delusions anymore from post-acute methamphetamine withdrawals, and the reminder of the reasoning has me so relieved that I put that phase of my life behind me fully.
