Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!): Eddie is a human engineer who graduated in the top 90 percentile of his class, that is to say, he was not really any good or particularly competent at all. After a series of odd jobs on small vessels, he was unlucky enough to experience a reactor meltdown firsthand. Apparently, he managed to bring everyone to safety and was hailed as a hero, despite just following a set of instructions left behind by his captain before his death.
Determined to finally learn something, he signed up with Nanotrasen, backed by stellar (and entirely unearned) recommendations from the incident.
He is usually a no-nonsense blue-collar individual with a safety-first approach. After his own incompetence led to an accident, he became willing to follow all procedures as closely as possible. Nevertheless, off duty he likes to drink at the station bar and sing some questionable songs with his fellow coworkers.
What made you join Funky Station?:
I used to play SS13 on and off for many years, but never managed to settle in a server. Now that I actually finished my academic obligations I want to find a forever server and a funky server seems to capture the energy I wanted from the time I played SS13. MRP with dedicated players but still room for fun.
