Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!):
During my current long-term DnD campaign, I play two characters at the same time: an alchemist "Jaca" and her Homunculus Servant "Book".
Jaca is a dryad who's lost her voice to a library of endless knowledge. She's heavily inspired by the Baba Yaga, being a comfort to those within her "garden", and a monstrous witch to those who threaten it.
Book is a Warforged currently inhabiting the tome Jaca carries, being her primary form of communication, and her partner in crime. He was originally a throwaway character meant to allow a mute character to communicate, but has accidently become the party's face. He is incredibly bad at lying despite being a plotter and a schemer, but cares immensely for his party and the stories people leave behind.
What made you join Funky Station?: I actually had a chance to play during the recent New Player Weekend, and had a great interaction as a servant worker, where the two bartenders showed me the ropes of both the game, and how to dumpster dive the maintenance tunnels. I'm also a weeb, so I recognize the reference to Scarlet Police.
