How often do you switch occupations?

I was curious if it was a normal thing for someone to want to take on wildly different jobs. I've seen almost every corner of the station, aside from Security work, and was curious if anyone else has tried the absolutely daunting challenge of trying to learn Atmospherics after just finally grasping how to properly do Chemistry work, or tried to learn how to perform basic surgery after spending a week cooking microwaved pizzas.

So, the question stands: Have you worked more jobs than one? If so, what jobs would those be? Do you switch jobs often, or is it a once in a while thing?

Eh, it depends on where they assign me, really.

I'm usually assigned to security but have been sent on the occasional salvage mission. Other than that, I do have some medical knowledge from my past, but... I would rather leave that to the professionals. Besides, when it comes down to it, Central tends to like my more... collected and orderly approach to security that many other officers seem to lack. More power to you, though, if you get the opportunity to bounce around.

I do a variety of jobs abourd the station, depending on what i am assigned to do by Central, usually those jobs are within Cargo, Medical, and Engineering, but it is not uncommon for me to be assigned to other jobs, such as Botany or Science.

In an ideal world, I would never do anything but bake cakes for a living.
Unfortunately I am being told that is "not amibitious enough", and "I did
not dedicate years of my life towards tutoring you for you to play around
in the service department!" I sometimes work as a chemist, which is as
close to cooking as I can get while still making my mother happy.
I never finished my medical education though, so I do not have a license to
work as a proper doctor.
That is why I end up mostly hating my time in the Science department,
where I can take on the position of director and "show everyone what a
daughter of Anja Bluetenberger can achieve".
