Regarding admin-questions
Funky staff have noticed that in the Funky Discord, the #admin-questions channel has been increasingly used in a way that differs strongly from its intended use case. Funky admins work on a lot of things with limited time, and out of respect for them, we want to ask that folks avoid the following, otherwise your question might be deleted with a short message:
Pure hypotheticals
While admins are happy to provide rules clarifications, questions that exist purely to justify niche gimmicks are colossal time wasters. In the case of gimmicks: the bounds of acceptability depend heavily upon the context of the round. Admins cannot reasonably be expected to give blanket permission for things that cannot and do not exist in a vacuum.
Intentional rule-skirting/"but what if"
While admins are happy to resolve genuine confusion about the limits of a rule, continual pushing of rules you have been told the boundaries of by attempting to find niche situations in which you can do the thing you have already been told not to do is both disrespectful and never subtle.
Using this forum as a substitute for an ahelp or a ticket
If you have concerns about a rulebreak or player conduct, the situation needs to be handled with full context in an ahelp or a Discord ticket. This forum is not the space to post thinly-veiled malding. Issues need to travel through appropriate forums, as admins cannot meaningfully resolve issues between players in very public spaces without the necessary detail.
