Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!):
Recently i made this family-focused overly friendly spanish guy Dani Rodriguez, who works very hard. The goal was to make him very likable and relatable without him saying or doing anything extraordinary, basically being an NPC > main character. Here are some of his behavioral highlights:
- While he knows English/Galactic Common, Dani occasionally uses spanish words in his communication. He often refers to people as 'hermano' or 'amigo' ('brother', 'friend'), making him loved and appreciated in service department where he works. I try not to overdo it, as he is a person and not a stereotype.
- Dani often quotes his family members (mom, grandma, friends too), specifically smart things about life that they told him.
- During accidents he is worried about being fired by NT, since he has to stop cooking, making drinks or cleaning to put on an oxygen mask or hang out with people until spacing gets fixed.
- He is extremely empathic and believes that everyone has a reason to do what they do, including some weird shit that science or sec sometimes do. This often brings Dani onto a different side of conflicts, as he prefers to support people rather than accuse them.
What made you join Funky Station?:
Need a new main server, which is less populated and has more RP in it with more meaningful interactions. Basically a server without typical LRP bs, or some fights getting personal & OOC. I used to be a really good doctor and chemist on the previous server (Starlight 200h+), so I'm really curious about your medicine and chemistry and would like to get good at it too.
