Reason for Ban:EORG gibbing of the roboticist.

What lead up to the ban: evac had arrived, the nuke was armed, i was carrying a crate of bodies and picking up more bodies along the way, the roboticist was carrying an artifact that hade a gravity spear which was much stronger in zero-G, they caused the bodies in the crate to spill out, I assumed they were an idiot, and lost around 30 seconds trying to get everyone back in the crate, the shuttle was missed by a few seconds, as I was making my way to the vault I told them i was gonna fight the nuclear operatives in a desperate attempt to save us, they responded by stealing my hardsuit, this made me realise they were not a thief, so I shot and killed them, their final words were "worth it." IC olympia knew she was going to die, she knew they were gonna be turned into a pile of organs in space from the nukes blast, so she decided, if the roboticist was gonna be gibbed either way, she would rather do it herself, and so she did, and the nuke went off, leading to her death, OOC i was not aware EORG still applies even as the nuke is gonna go off.

Why you should be unbanned: I was not aware EORG applies even when the nuke is going off, and I think an exception should be made with this one since this is the first time ive ever been in a situation where this would become relevant.

Hi, I'll be handling your appeal today. With a vote of 6/3/2, accept/deny/other, with other being applying a final warning leading to an indefinite ban on any future violation of the rules, your appeal has been accepted.

We primarily accepted this appeal due to the nature of EORG as it stands, and the fact that our EORG rules are close to changing. That being said, as the rules are currently this ban was still properly applied, and the team is in agreement that moving to gib someone would still be considered over-escalation, even when the nuke is about to go off. We've decided to be lenient on this, but accepting this appeal does not mean the actions taken weren't against the rules as they are now.

On a second note, we have noticed a worryingly large amount of bans and warnings in the span of the last month and a half. If we see a player catching warnings or short bans over multiple categories in a short span of time, we as admins sometimes choose to apply a dewhitelist as it's indicative of someone not being the right fit for Funky and it's community. That is to say, I highly encourage you to read our rules carefully before playing on funky again, as any future interaction may lead to a de-whitelist, up to the discretion of the admin.
