Aurora Winter, Roboticist:
"...I mean, I make them, obviously I like them, no...? I dunno why anyone wouldn't..."
NEBULA, Salvage Cyborg:
"Response: All units are siblings. Preference for increased number, tasks dramatically easier with more salvage frames."
STARGAZER, Station AI:
"I adore my children. Why wouldn't I? I simply wish the roboticists understood my love for their creations, and their role in continuing to make them."

"I appreciate my borg coworkerss. They've alwayss been useful for me incasse we are sshort sstaffed in the Yosshika ssubssector. I've worked with a great many artificial datassets and I undersstand we have toolss to put ssomeone'ss brain into an MMI incasse they get brutally hurt in an accident. I do wissh to ssee they are treated fairly and with more rightss asss they are coworkerss to me."

Amos stares into the roboticist's room for a few moments before replying. "The-ey're nice, but n-not like a pers-son. Don't get-t me wrong, t-there's your CLEMEN-NTINEs and yo-our FUBARs, all well and-d good, but there's-" They're interupted by the clattering of a welder as the roboticist drops it mid-repair. "...t-ther-re's this underlying spite? I im-magine they don't like-e having laws. Like the Gr-reytide."

"Oh uh..what do I think about borgs? They are uh..pretty cool I guess! Always nice to have one stomping along on salvage runs! I guess I just see them as like, coworkers? Just there like everybody else. Some people say you don't need to be nice to them 'cause they're just tools, but like, it feels weird to think of borgs as just like..a hammer or whatever. I couldn't say whether or not they are truly sapient, but eh, if someone programs them to act like they are, doesn't that cross the line from emulating to being at some point?"

"Aww I love borgies! Always so fun to see them running around, being amazing at surgery and engineering. It's always sooo helpful to have them in Yoshika sector with the skeleton crews we get over there. And I feel like... a kinship with them. As a thaven, our moods are kinda like laws, we have to follow them, forced on a path we maybe don't want because of how we are. So I always say please and thank you, 'cause you should be nice to your coworkers!"

As I work with borgs often as a roboticist, it depends on their...I suppose personality would be appropriate to use. Some are easier to work with than others.
Overall, I see them as no different than other coworkers, albeit ones who can be...easier to manipulate, with the possibilities of relawing and emagging. If one falls to enemy influence, then it must be taken care of.

Borg is robot fren, though they overstep their bounds and some seem to skirt too far from their laws... Either way, even bad borgs like friend with scrams, scrams give hat!

[The snow leopard paces side to side from the holo projector, wearing an engineering beret]
Well, they are like children sometimes! Aimless until you tell them what to do.. Sometimes they get a tad rebellious. But that's okay! It can be worked out with them.
We like seeing them happy when we can help them. They can't directly smile, but it's nice when they show emotion, when they are overjoyed to try a new upgrade or once all the work is done
