Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!): Ushah Quassar, a Mage from my Mage: the Ascension game. I won't drag whoever reads this down with the nitty gritty setting details, but Ushah was part of a sub-faction (Void Engineers) of a bigger faction (the Technocracy) who were basically astronauts exploring the deep unknown. Ushah has burning curiosity for the universe and believes that mankind can reach great heights on its own, WITHOUT some conspiracy "guiding" them. Something that has put her at odds with the Technocracy.
She is also a deviant in that she holds both scientific and deeply spiritual beliefs. To her, science answers the "how", but religion answers the "why".
In more fantasy TRPGs Ushah is usually some sort of Psion/Esper, wielding weird alien magics while generally being a warm goofball.
What made you join Funky Station?: I want to give MRP a proper shot! It seems to only be loosely enforced in the server I've usually played, and I've heard good things about y'all. Also heard y'all like to experiment with new things which I like the idea of. Never know what to expect!
