Rajaks Lastwood is not the man he once was. Before adopting this name, he was know as Marco Pavlov, a regular guy that always tried to be positive and do his best. He was born at the previously know Andromeda 20th Sector(September, 29, XXXX), but he always dreamed with leaving this hole, filled with smuggling rings, mercenary groups, and criminal syndicates. At his 21, Marco was able to join the Military Forces, with the hopping that one day he would be able to clean the place he once lived.
Marco worked hard to be acknowledged by the high comand, quickly becoming a Corporal, usually being in charge of a small team. However, during a regular day, Marco participated in a disastrous operation involving a violent infestation of Xenonids (XX-121), an incident that resulted in devastating casualties and psychological trauma, causing his retirement from the his military service as he was prescribed with PTSD on his 28.

For three years after leaving the miliraty forces, Marco struggled to rebuild his life. Eventually, desperation and circumstance let him with no choice but become what he promised eliminate. Though never fully embracing the life of crime, he survived by working among outlaws, smugglers, traffickers, and later on, working directly for a shadowy criminal organization which not just controlled the sector at the time, but was rivaling with the Syndicate, a growing terrorist network at the time, leading to small confronts between them.

Everything changed when Nanotrasen began expanding its influence across the galaxy. Through calculated political pressure, economic dominance, and military-backed enforcement, the corporation slowly established order in the previously lawless Sector. Criminal networks collapsed almost overnight.

The lost of authority opened enough space for the take over of the Syndicate, which delayed no time to expande its influence not just at the Andromeda 20th sector, but also some of the other sectors.

Many of the criminals organization in the region faced two grim choices:

• One: Execution or imprisonment by Nanotrasen authorities.

• two: Joining the Syndicate, that offered protection from Nanotrasen as long the criminals worked for them.

But Marco refused both fates. He would not surrender to corporate justice, but he also refused to give the rest of his life for terrorists.

The Birth of Rajaks Lastwood

Determined to erase his past, Marco spent three years and credits gaining trust and acquiring contacts within others criminal groups and organizations. Eventually, he found enough people with the necessary skills to accomplish his goal:

• A complete identity replacement

• Facial reconstruction and appearance alteration

• A fully fabricated identity record.

With his old life erased, MarcoPavlov disappeared and in his place, Rajaks Lastwood emerged.

Under this new identity, he applied for employment with Nanotrasen itself. His goal was simple: hide in plain sight. Today, Rajaks works as an ordinary crew member aboard one of Nanotrasen's many stations, blending in among scientists, engineers, technicians, security officers, doctors and many others.

He keeps the faced of a extroverted guy but avoiding too much attention, and works diligently to maintain the illusion of being just another station employee.
But deep inside, Marco Pavlov still exists — a man haunted by war, crime, and the knowledge that if his past is discovered, neither Nanotrasen nor the Syndicate will let him live in peace.
