Sorry, this is a bit long.
Stilvur - my namesake - is a bee-like alien who was unintentionally abducted from his home planet; one that hasn't yet reached a space-faring level of technology. Many years later and with the help of various individuals - among them, a shady casino owner - a learned, basic understanding of the common language lets him make his way through a new universe where he often has to grapple with being alien to and unprepared for it, culturally and technologically. Despite these troubles, Stilvur remains positive and carefree, the communal lifestyle of his younger years in his "hive" leading him to genuinely trying to improve the lives of others. He can be ignorant at times, and is hesitant to do things he is not confident in, but he gets by doing simple work wherever he can find it.
What made you join Funky Station?:
I've played a few shifts during new player weekend these past two days and so far it's passed the vibe check. I'm interested in a slower-paced and more roleplay-focused SS14 fork after a few hundred hours of Wizard's Den and a couple shifts of Traumastation and Harmony, and I particularly enjoy the expanded character creation. Basically: I liked it here, and I want to keep playing after this weekend is up!
