Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!):
Oh there are many, but one I've enjoyed playing lately that i can give a short version brief on, it's a character i ported from tabletop to SS14 who is an old man, rejuv meds has kept him up and in working condition but his bones are creaking. He worked for NT for a long time and won a NT lottery on earth to travel out to a faraway sector and a prestigious chance of good cushy work in a new sector.
However the manifest got messed up and his cry pod got sent along the wrong route, and once he woke and told the crew the captain didn't want to admit to and handle the mistake. So they just put him under again, faked a new manifest on the current route to transfer to another ship. That happened...15 times or so in a row, he got woken up, made to "pay for is passage" with light medical, engineering and janitorial work and so on. Promised to be sent right, and screwed over again. Now he finally ended up at station x and he's ready to just get to settled into a not to kinetic job (like, no security work ect) and just live his life and tell his stories and watch the yung'uns run around while he tries to keep his old head in the game and maybe even teach them young ones about patience and maybe a trick or two he learnt along the way.
What made you join Funky Station?:
I like to have some roleplay in the games. Some method to the madness rather then just senseless destructive chaos for the sake of chaos regardless of role and character. I like when there is, at least some, rp intention behind player actions and the characters. I've played Wizden and starlight etc, and some HRP on the persistence SS14 server which has been super fun. And I've kept hearing great things about funky that makes me feel and think that it would fit very well and be servers i could have fun and and make fun for others.
