Reason for Ban: "Banned for Over-Escalation 4th offense: As a member of the science department. Demanded the RD broke SOP, RD stated no, this escalated to Wereiswas getting fired, upon being fired Wereiswas lured the RD into their office and firebombed them."

What lead up to the ban: During the round I was the roboticist and early on I asked the RD to get the mats from the vault but the RD refused to do so and stated the SOP as their reason, I'd like to point out that the reason for the ban isn't written properly as I never claimed the RD broke SOP. We argued in person and over comms a bit about their refusal to get the vault mats, this of course escalated to me getting fired. When I was fired I began making preparation to firebomb them by making the bombs and getting a firesuit and helmet and I lured them to their office by pretending to apologize about my behavior, I will add that when I was in their office I contemplated on whether or not I would go through with the firebombing and I ultimately decided to do so.

Something similar to this happened in a previous round where I was the robo as well where I was fired for not listening to the RD's orders due to me giving out lathe boards to the crew, later on I found the little group that was using it in maints and I stole the science silo to get back at the RD for firing me and to help out the group, after the RD got the silo back one of the guys in the group offered to help me kill the RD with firebombs and I initially refused but later decided to do.

In that earlier round I was noted for over escalation but it was for stealing the silo and I was told that the firebombing was properly escalated, during the round where I was banned I recalled the previous round where I wasn't noted for firebombing the RD and thought I'd be able to do so in my banning round despite the different circumstances

Why you should be unbanned: While it's not an excuse for my actions, this month and the previous were very rough and stressful for me and it definitely impacted how I played as I usually did so late at night.

If I recall correctly, in the ahelp I did talk about the previous round where I firebombed the RD and was told it was properly escalated and how I misinterpreted it to me believing I'd be able to do so my banning round under the same reasoning as stated earlier in the appeal. I did recognize where I went wrong in my reasoning during the ahelp but of course it was after my offense.

I'd like to call Funky my favorite server as it's the only one I usually played on and whenever I was tempbanned I usually didn't play space station until after the ban was over because I wanted to play Funky as I wasn't that interested in other servers besides Viva. The Viva admins have allowed me to still play on Viva despite my ban under the condition that any rulebreak would be a no tolerance appeal ban, while I haven't played much of the playtests recently because of lowpop and it being early in the morning for me, I haven't been in any trouble on Viva for the time I have played on it since being banned here.

I've also been playing the CMU playtests and have nearly 100 hours on it without getting ahelped about even a potential rulebreak, the closest thing to that was getting DMed by an admin on discord about my actions as an antag during a round but I was told it was just for clarification and that I wasn't in trouble. I am also HRP whitelisted on CMU but admittedly it's not that hard to do so.

Also I'm not sure how to word this exactly but I've overcame what was stressing me out for the past month and am in much better spirits and I'm sure it'll be reflected by my ingame actions.

With a vote of 3/4/0 being accept/deny/other. The admin team has voted to deny this appeal. This was for the following reasons:

• This was a premeditated thing that happened, and the appeal did not properly address this

First of all, could you elaborate on why my appealable offense gets my appeal for said offense denied? The way you've worded it, it makes it sound like the reason my appeal got denied was due to me appealing it. The 4th offense resulted in my ban that I have to appeal, I don't understand why that's preventing me from appealing when I'm explicitly told I can appeal it.

Secondly, I did describe what happened in the round and my act of preparing to firebomb the RD, I guess I didn't make it clear that I only began doing so and only thought to do so after getting fired. Also could you clarify how I'm supposed to properly address it that's not just describing what happened in the round?

I don't want to seem insistent or rude but I would appreciate a further explanation on why my appeal was denied regarding what I pointed out in my previous reply, I think the way you put my denial reason are vague along with hypocritical as far as the first reason I was denied. I don't think it's fair for one of my denial reasons to be my ban itself and if you gave me the chance to do so, I could edit or add on to my appeal in the replies to satisfy the second reason I was denied if given more information on what that denial reason means. I don't want to have to wait a whole month because I missed something specific I didn't realize I needed to put in an appeal that I already wrote a lot for, and if I'm not given the chance to revise my appeal I'd still like to know what I need to include in my next appeal so it doesn't get another for another vague reason.

Apologies. Upon re-reading I see i was vague. To clarify, repeated and continuous breaking of rules, especially the same rule, is fair for an admin to vote to deny an appeal, as there were many prior instances in which you were told not to do something. Secondly, while you correctly identified that firebombing was over escalation, you failed to acknowledge why it is over escalation in the appeal. Thirdly, we cannot reliably verify the accounts of good behaviour from other servers without a voucher, and even then it does not detract from the instance that occurred here

I talked about a previous time I did something similar that was properly escalated and how these two scenarios had very different circumstances and acknowledged my misinterpretation, I thought that would've been enough to know that I understand where I went wrong,
