Event idea- invasion.

this doesent necassarily entail syndicate forces sending foot soldiers to take the station by force but rather a modular invasion that can slot any kind of organized force, wether that be pirates, honkmother cultists, blood cultists, coscult, syndie, dragons ETC ETC. there would be an annoucment that X group has a fleet/horde is coming in and they would be striking a specific part of the outer station like evac, cargo or arrivals, crew members would need to fortify that one spot and try to prevent the invasion force from making a stronghold, you can have it so the invasion force are either NPC or actual players depending on the theme of the invasion, a horde of cultists, a trio of dragons etc etc, the intresting part comes from the second phase, where you can deploy mobs that most crew have not seen like the honk beholders or the cult behemoths, losing the beachead would make the area sealed off from crew, where the invasion force can use their big guns and send them down to take a specific department, ideally there should be 3-5 waves depending on how well the station holds, first 2 waves would show the basic infantry then the more dangerous units with the 3rd phase using both, if the station holds through the entire 3 waves you can send a special unit or something that is incredibly powerful whose entire goal is to break through the defense. its a very combat centric event with a light amount of RP depending on how this plays out, what makes it special IMO is the idea of using alot of mobs that normally dont ever see use unless the admins are bored. i also just want an excuse to use the ship guns against people
