Jason Vance was a 25 year old male working on a station as an assistant. He was the last surviving member of the Vance family after his siblings stations were attacked by Nuclear Operatives. He managed to live somewhat comfortably for a few years before his station was also attacked by Nuclear Operatives. During the attack, the Operatives managed to get access to the Nuclear Authentication Disk and completely wipe out Security and majority of the crew. Fortunately, the Operatives were down to the last man, and although wounded, was still a threat. Jason being a tider knew what he had to do. He made a can bomb and a baseball bat and trudged through the sea of his dead friends and crewmates, feeling more and more anxious and worried about his own fate. As he got to the vault, he saw the last remaining Operative insert the disk into the Nuclear Device and throws his improvised explosive. The Operative seeing the bomb at his feet fires his shotgun at Jason and manages to cripple him before being blown up. Bleeding out and crippled, Jason crawls away only to hear that Evac has left the station, essentially sentencing him to death. He crawls over to medbay and manages to stop his bleeding and heal some of the damage from the shotgun, finding a crutch to help move around. Fast forward a week later, no one had arrived to repair the station and remove the dead. Jason, now starving from lack of food, breaks into science to find a jar with a pinkish colored fluid labeled "EXPERIMENTAL". Desperate for any sort of food, he downs the whole jar and immediately faints. He hears a voice in his head proposing a trade, he ca live on, but he has to be a host for the entity. Jason accepts, and is shocked awake only to see that his skins now translucent pink slime, and he cant control his movement at all. As his new slime body moves around, he catches a glimpse of his new form, a skeleton floating in a body made of slime.

Gloppy spends time working on NT stations as an engineer and a salvage specialist, now able to speak with an NT approved speech implant. He has made many friends over the months and hopes he makes more for as long as he lives.

17 years ago, Salvage Specialists board an abandoned shuttle in hopes of finding any sort of loot. They are met with the aftermath of a battle, half decomposed corpses decorating the floor. As they proceed through the shuttle, they find a cryopod containing a young vulpkanin. She appears to be alive although badly beaten. They fulton the cryo pod back to their station and proceed with their shift as normal. The vulpkanin wakes up to see cargo technicians whispering amongst themselves in a strange new station and weakly crawls out of the pod only to faint immediately and flop on the floor. She gets patched up and goes through extensive therapy for two years to help process what she went through on that shuttle she was found on. She told the psychologist that "bad men in red" boarded her families shuttle and "made them sleep forever". The Captain of the shuttle had threw her into the cryopod before being gunned down in front of her. The last thing she remembers is seeing her father throw a "ball that went boom" at the "bad men" before the cryopod activated. Some years pass, and she is now working as a cargo technician on the same station she was fultoned to. Bright eyed and full of hope, she delivered mail all throughout the station, making many friends along the way. After working in cargo, she works as an assistant for the next two years. While arguing with another assistant about the best use of welder fuel in a zero-g environment, a ninja appears out of thin air and cleaves the other assistant into two pieces. Fearing for her life, she throws her arms up in vain to protect herself only to feel a sharp pain in her right arm. She watches her own arm fall to the floor in slow motion as she herself falls backwards in shock before blacking out. She awakes later in the medical bay with a metallic replacement and is told that after she fainted, the ninja was unceremoniously gunned down by 4 officers. It takes some time for her to get used to her new arm but eventually learns to use it in conjunction with day to day activities. Some time passes until her station is attacked by Nuclear Operatives. Quick and efficient, they eradicate Sec and crew alike, leaving no survivors. The power is eventually cut, and left without a light, she stumbles around in the dark until stepping on a PDA containing the Head of Personnels ID. She uses the PDA as a light source and manages to find a pod with a heavily wounded Captain bleeding on the floor. He beckons her over thinking shes the HoP and promotes her to Captain on the spot, with direct orders to get to CC before its too late. Suddenly an announcement blares all through the station saying the Nuclear Device has been armed. She jumps into the escape pod and as it shoots away from the station, she says flashes of light from where she just was. They almost caught her. Now at CC, she is stripped of her Captain role and ordered to go back to working as a HoP, despite her saying shes not the HoP. After mandatory mind wipe of the recent events, she sits daydreaming about finally quitting and going back to being a tider. She doesnt remember how she got this job, she only knows that she despises it with a passion.
