Reason for Ban: Irresponsible antag playx1 : Detonated a bag with cluster bombs using c4 accidentally RR'ing a bunch of non targets in attempt to kill hop To complete An objective ally's objective.

What lead up to the ban: IT was a first traitor round in a while that i was able to play the round didnt have many problems other than my objective Ally (OA) getting arrested but hey the goal wasnt to keep them out of cuffs. after the first attempt to kill hop where OA got arrested i was able to complete my second objective of the corgi prime cut. Afterwards i felt bad for nearly abandoning my teammate so me and another syndie planned a second attempt on HOP's life this time using a emagged borg to carry the bomb to HOP. originally this entire lan from round start was suppose to use payload but they we'rent researched so i used the holoparasites advice and went for clusters usign a c4 to detonate. and while this plan was able to be made , due to near round end hop wasnt at their office but evac so me and the other syndie had borg bring it to HOP in a last ditch effort. i detonated with a remote but in the process appearently RRed a bunch of people (not sure how many) not even sure if i got hop or not as i blue spaced portaled. moments later evac came everyone boarded i wrote my summary and an admin contacted me asked me if i was behind it which i admitted.

Why you should be unbanned: While i understand my action's we're harmful and im sorry to anything it may have ruined i cant help but feel like it didnt warrant a full on ban. maybe i dont fully understand it but for me it felt like a reasonable play to make out of desperation the goal was never to just kill people but a crude attempt on hop's life once more that ended up with additional casualties . Perhaps i didnt really get the power of clusters? So the whole thing was due to poor timing which could happen to a number of people however due to end of round being so close not that big of an issue at the same time which sound insensative of me however something like a mass bombing that kills more lives than expected dosent sound too uncommon either its not like i made a teleloose occur. Then when it comes to a matter of my ban while being sat out for 24hrs sucks its not that what bothers me but the quickness of the decision over something that could be an easy error to make when pressed for time and wanting to do something to end it off rather than finish it off so easily. further more to my knowledge the other syndie that helped with this didnt face punishment or a warning if i am wrong with this please do corrct be but if not if it was really such an issue should it not be distributed to more than one?

overall while i would lve to have my ban appealed if i could simply be given more insight on my exact wrong doings that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

We do not need to vote on this because it is only a day ban. Even if we voted, I can tell you the admin team would tell you to take it in stride and learn from it.

No matter how you look at it--it's irresponsible antag. You had one kill objective and managed to kill 6+ people due to the bombs and the spacing after. All over 1 person. We have a clip of it as well and can put it here if need be.

While antags are there to cause disruption, you are specifically tasked and still need to be responsible with how you kill no matter what stage of the round it is. Even if this is a mistake, it was a really bad mistake. You disrupted a lot of people's game, and it is important to recognize that winning might be fun for you; but it does nothing for everyone else or for the story. It is important as an Antag to recognize when you need to accept the loss or lack of greentext for the sake of better RP or outcome for other people. Or find ways that aren't throwing a bomb into a group of people.
