Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing: On Starlight (Alpha) the main server I play, I play a shadekin called Recollection (yes I know shadekin have a certain stigma around them but they're too cute). Her whole background starts with her living with her elder sister, but being stolen by fake government officials for a mass shadekin testing facility done on an island. Her personality is posh, with her shouting constantly as a means to get attention from others so she's 'seen'. The facility often did live dissections of shadekin to figure out how their organs looked so she is constantly in pain and tries to deal with it by being cold and distant to others. She also looks down on her sister (who she took her anger out on by blinding her after she was set free from the "facility") because her sister hunts her using her status as mid-high syndicate command as an excuse to put bounties on Recollection. (Forethought, her sister, is mid-high syndicate command.) Kind of sounds like OC slop but Forethought has been a syndicate leader many times before IC (Admin events too).
What made you join Funky Station?: Suri's videos. They made me start SS14 as a whole as I was so happy with the idea of a silly space roleplay game. I started with Starlight, and then RMC, then I tried out CMU so I've had a good feel for the combat and the roleplay aspects of the game.
