How old are you?
20

Yes
How many hours do you have on Funky?
623 hours
Have you helped with whitelists before, or played Nanotrasen Career Trainer on New Player Weekend? Please elaborate on which one.
No
What tips you off that a player might be a good fit for Funky, if anything?
An interest in playing a character, but also not being too attached to them, since our server is both more roleplay-y than the others but still a tad bit chaotic and they'll possibly die alot.
Have you ever had an interesting or fun experience helping a new player? If so, tell us about it.
Yes, one time i got a service worker wanting to learn how to use the chef stuff, i gladly helped them and told them some things, i then had to leave to stab a rat king, and when i came back they had made a pretty good dish!! it was very inspiring.
How do you like to teach interns or new players, if at all?
Ingame i really like trying to find an in universe reason for things, for example, one time i told a technical assistant to "press the Z shaped button in the rcd" to tell them how to open the menu, i believe it worked, if all else fails, help chat is available. Also sometimes i think it can be fun to give someone new a "mission" to prove themselves, like how i told the service worker to make a recipe in the previous example. I dont really help people alot in discord, because im not constantly reading mentor chat, but as far as i can remember, it is pretty straightforward on discord.
What areas of the game would you say are your strong suit, if any?
Mostly medical (not chem) and science, i play medical the most and i like doing anomaly research on science.
What is your favorite department? Why is it your favorite department?
I can't say i have a favorite department, i like them all for various reasons, i have a similar playtime across them, but if it would had to be one it would be medical. I like giving people their meds and hearing about their ailments, i like doing miracles with surgery, i like putting people in the cryopods and i like thinking about "unconventional" treatment, like pills or patches.
Tell us a fun fact you know about the game. The more niche, the better.
the scottish accent is slightly inspired by warhammer fantasy dwarves? (rat becomes raki, which is khazalid for skaven, the ratmen)
Tell us about a roleplay moment you fondly remember.
When i was working at engi and i saw 2 of my colleagues passed out near another suspicious engi! Which ran to me and then used something to make me pass out and get poisoned. Well, thats besides the point, i went to medical to get checked up, and someone offered me alcohol. You see, im already dizzy, i dont need alcohol. They insist, and after saying no at least 5 times they try to force me to drink it. Thats it buddy you're getting the RCD. Good thing we're already at medical, after getting checked up and returning to work, security looks for me, then its both of us in security. It feels like we're both kids and our dad(warden) is trying to make us either apologize to eachother or one of us to take the blame while we still hate eachother, after five minutes of bickering (and thinking about scottish insults to call them) the warden is too tired of our pettiness and let us go, sadly the person i beat with a RCD didnt want to be my friend and we have a slight rivalry until evac arrives.
