Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing:
I almost exclusively play a Shadekin named Murder (yes I get asked about the name all the time, it's cause his jokes are killer, or at least that's what he claims). He began as a scientist, then got sick and tired of getting constantly blown up, and began to explore other careers. At this point he's managed to work in most departments on the station, and has finally settled between working as a Cargo Tech or Barman.
He comes from the Frontier worlds, and has had a few scrapes with death. Or direct collisions with it, thank god for NT's medical personel and clone tech...
All the experiences with malfunctioning stations, incompetent staff and brushes with death have left him a bit jaded, which he usually deals with by consuming about 15% of the bar's stock and chain-smoking through shifts. He also has a bad habit of hacking vending machines and disabling the manager just to see what goodies the "secret menu" includes.
His numerous career changes did result in him being a bit of a jack of all trades, master of none, which helps with life on-station.
What made you join Funky Station?:
I've heard good things about the server's community. I've msotly been playing on Starlight but the extremely high pop and fast pace leaves very little time to actually RP and develop narratives during shifts. From what I've heard Funky has a great balance of chaos and MRP, which sounds perfect. I understand Shadekin are not a choice in the server (for understandable reasons) sooooo will probably make someone new!
