What lead up to the ban: During this round I was playing as the detective, by my estimate about 10 to 15 minutes into the shift I had seen the magistrate breaking into the janitors room. A couple minutes later the magi is marked wanted for failure to comply and trespassing, after they fled an officer questioning them. The magi was brought into gen pop, along with me Sneek quickclaw and Aria Cling the arresting officer because Aria requested that I help them process. The HOS enters the room after stating on radio that aria is to be arrested to which I stated that I would not do so if an arrest reason wasn't given. Once HOS is in the room they state that Aria is under arrest, but do not list the crimes, and they ask if aria will comply to which they do not. The HOS then proceeded to magdump Aria causing me to pull out my inspector and mag dump the HOS in return for the attempted murder of a fellow officer without cause. Skipping forward heavily after many antics and me feeling all over the station. I am in the solitary confinement chamber and am chastising the officer in front of me for being a sheep, a slave to the system, and worse than a borg for following a corrupt HOS. I believe I said something along the lines of why don't you get back to sucking HOS's dick keeping in line with the previous comments of calling them subservient and weak willed. The actual ban took place probably 2 to 4 rounds rounds later though I do not remember the exact round.
Why you should be unbanned: I made this comment thinking that it would be covered by the sexual content exception stating lee way for insults. In context I feel like it was impossible for it to be misconstrued as an actually sexual in nature request rather than it being insult beyond the nature of the action itself. In the same vain that calling someone a cocksucker isn't at least in my opinion.
This comment was not made to actually tell someone to engage in something sexual with the HOS but to further demean their character for being so subservient to their obviously corrupt boss who as having 3 officers slated for execution because they tried to do their jobs.
Upon some deliberation on my part I made a ticket on the discord after my ban to ask for some clarification about the leeway for insults mentioned in the rule. And I believe it was Gostir who replied but I could be wrong who stated that abstraction is the main distinction for insults. Ie telling someone to go suck a dick is fine, but telling someone to suck a specific persons dick is not allowed. This was unknown to me at the time of saying the comment and was impossible for me to know given the loose wording of the leeway exception.
I regret making whoever the player who I said it to uncomfortable and I hope it didn't impact their round too much. This is the first time i've said anything that has come close to interacting with the sexual content rule. Regardless of whether the ban is cleared or not I will of course ensure it doesn't occur in the future so as to not impact the games of other players or make anyone uncomfortable.
