Command Training and meta knowledge

I know that through command training, command members have knowledge of the antagonists of the titular funky station, but how far does that knowledge extend?
Are command aware of things such as blobs coming in pairs, how much TC Nukies have to work with and how much their equipment costs? Where is the line drawn, if at all about where the command training ends and metagaming begins?
