Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing:
I enjoy roleplaying as my Final Fantasy XIV character, Melioda Crescenzo. She is a Seeker of the Moon Miqo'te, and native to the Western Highlands of the Coerthas region. Melioda was raised in the village of Hemlock. She lived a modest life with her parents, passing the days by assisting her mother at the tavern she worked at, working in the fields, playing "adventurer" with friends, and plucking away at the lyre. When the Calamity struck, however, Melioda & her family were forced to move as the intense chill froze their home. With what little money they had saved, they were able to move to Ishgard and take refuge in The Brume - the poverty district in the lower levels of the city. Melioda quickly grew tired of the poor conditions, and swore to strive for a better life. In pursuit of this dream, she gave her parents what savings she didn't need and left to join the Adventurer's Guild in Gridania, a nearby city-state.
This is where my roleplay with Melioda forks, where one plotline follows the plot of the MMO where she is the "main character," and another where she is just a normal adventurer in the world. Most of the time when roleplaying with others I use the latter plotline.
What made you join Funky Station?: I've been interested in MRP for a while, and I have been recommended Funky Station by a friend of mine.
