Rosaline O'Quinn! (She/Her, Human): A rather cutthroat corporate pawn with an interest in advancing her own career first, as a result of growing up poor and finding footholds early in life in cold, unfeeling bureaucracy. She has a substance problem, tends to take things rather personally, but her selfishness leads to heavy interest in the well-being of those around her and the success of their ongoing affairs; think the Captain from Iron Lung, she seems like a self-entitled asshole that'll ultimately take a bullet for anyone who's under the same banner as her.
Rosaline generally responds to events with some intensity, prioritizing protecting people, then assets, then herself -- she's also averse to violence, and firearms especially, despite their usefulness; she never was a fighter, and she doesn't like to involve herself in combat.
Ceirin D'Aversa! (They/Them/It/Its, Varies): Cold, distant, wandering -- D'Aversa is a psychologist that's found their place providing assistance, resources, and information wherever they go, even if they never truly feel at home anywhere. Immensely standoffish, fearful of people/crowds, and the more isolated and meaningful their work, the better, especially if just with one or two people at a time in small doses. It never had been safe around people, and that's stuck with it.
Ceirin generally responds to events with a focus on everything they can contain/maintain or shut down in advance to prevent things from spreading. If it comes down to it -- and it's needed to save people, they can kill someone in a cold blood in a pinch, and they have.
