Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!): A somewhat recent DND character I played was a silent monk sworn to serve a noble house. His strong sense of duty and honor led to him often clashing with the other player characters(who were dishonorable degenerates /s).

What made you join Funky Station?: Looking for new experiences playing Space Station.

Sorry, I wasn't sure how brief the description was supposed to be.
Character info:
My main goal with roleplaying the character was emphasizing the dichotomy between the character's personality and the fact that they were completely nonspeaking. The character held strong opinions and tried to share them but they were inhibited by them being unable to speak forcing them to rely on tools like gestures and writing things. They were an outspoken character who couldn't speak. I said my character was "shaking their head disapprovingly" a lot during that campaign.

As a roleplayer in general, I enjoy variety(I prefer to have a different character for every job in SS14), but try to make characters that I think will produce interesting interactions with other characters. Characters I play will usually(but not always) have a degree of rigidity in their personality as I find it creates more opportunities to have disagreements in character that can be enjoyed by everyone involved out of character. This refers to small RP based stuff and not my willingness to adhere to OOC rules, SOP, Space Law, and other rules/expectations of players, which I will always try to follow to best of my ability.
