Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!):

DnD 5e, was playing a Human Fighter by the name of Sir Thomas of Oxcross, a hulking man who rose through the ranks to a knighthood by the defence of his liege lord in battle. Very shortly after, he was mortally injured in a failed monster hunt and left for dead where he was rescued by a wild druid, who nursed back him to health deep in the woods. After an unknown amount of time he left the care of the druid, returning to society to find himself wanted for a desertion he certainly didn’t commit. Having come through the ranks from a humble background, Thomas had an awkward blend of lowborn earnestness and a soldiers' black humour and mannerisms, though his recent elevation into knighthood and long service to nobility has made him wiser to their ways than most would realise.
