Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!): On DeltaV I play an avali who's sensitive to ion storms. When they hit, I roll a d20 on my "Ion Table" and add a rp restriction to myself. Things like, "Everyone on your department radio is in your pack." (I trust them without question). Or, "You believe departmental head is a changeling" (DV does not have changelings outside of admin events). I generally like to add little bits and bobs only I know about that can make interacting with my characters a different experience every round.

What made you join Funky Station?: I'm interested in trying out different servers and getting a taste for their cultures.

Could you expand on the personality of your character? Gimmicks are wonderful, but please mention some more concrete personality traits, the same way you would describe a character in a book!

No problem. For the mentioned avali character, Nomi, I play them as being pretty gullible. Not stupid, just easier to convince of certain things. Competent at their job, but not all too bright otherwise. They freeze up in stressful situations, which I feel makes for a somewhat different security experience (given that is the department I usually play them in). While they aren't the sort of character to take bribes, a good story that plays on their empathy can usually get them to believe a suspect for the moment. At least until they have time to think over what they were just told, or until they're shot in the face.

OOC, I'd rather have interactions like this than try to 'win' every encounter.
