Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!): I like playing similarly to myself, which is a very timid shy kind of character. I don't have much more to add to that, I struggle with trying different personalities.

What made you join Funky Station?: Trying out a decent chunk of the servers on SS14, to see which kind of roleplay I like. I tried a lot of the LRP ones and they don't seem to be my style, so i'm switching to MRP. I'm still relatively new, and y'all seem to be the best for new players...?

Oh yeah, sure! The general character I play around servers is "Maru," with a varying last name. It's half because I like short first names, and I haven't had anyone with the same first name so far. The other half is that I can easily tell if someone is addressing me.

She's very clumsy and often ends up taking up a lot of time to do what would seem like simple things to other people. Ever since my first round playing her, she really enjoys watching the wildlife on the ship (the rodents). I've had times where I had to RP her... killing mice for an artifact, which she would spend a good few minutes easing herself into it, only to have the mouse run away... before eventually catching it, and beating it to death with a clipboard. In social interactions, she is very timid, but will not stray away from opportunities that arise... in fact she likes joining random hijinks a lot.

In terms of a background, it's mostly been improv up to this point, as I myself am not too aware of the SS13/14 related lore. But some things I probably will settle on, is that she is mostly in the space station due to a friend who helped her get a job there. Due to that friend becoming missing, she's now on the station without anyone who knows her, and now has to ask others for help.
