Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!): I enjoy variety so I'm playing different characters, but here is a recent one from the Stop'n'Gas ttrpg.
Karen Gilmore, a 50 year old woman who lost her entire inheritance by investing in crypto, now an assistant manager working nightshift at a gas station. She is very demanding of the other employees, always giving an earful to the ones that slack off, but is the first to praise them if they do a good job.
She seems unusually calm when encountering eldritch horrors during work, because she is secretly a schizophrenic and thinks those are hallucinations, so she tries to pretend everything is normal. This comes in handy when a pack of werellamas is trying to tear the employees limb from limb and they need some encouragement.
Her biggest downfall is her ego. She thinks to be superior to others. She will scold an ancient god into submission if it is rude to her. Results may vary.
What made you join Funky Station?: I've heard Funky has good rules preventing metagaming and generally a culture that rewards roleplay.
I am a bit tired of textless encounters with other players and murderhobos. The passenger welderbombing medbay for the 100th left a bad taste in my mouth.
I came back to the game after trying out another whitelisted server with strict rules and the difference is night and day, so I want to try out others as well.
