Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!): new to ss14, but i have came up with two characters that i enjoy:
On starlight i was a young felinoid male that was figuring out his purpose on the station, going from job to job eager to learn how the world around him worked. He was notably meek (unless he got drunk in which he would become incredibly loud, and even a little depressive depending on the shift/ how he perceived his overall performance). He has a hunger to learn more about every aspect of the station he was on, and was known to hop from job to job figuring out where he belonged (I thought a character like this reflects well on me being a new player, trying everything out for the first time).
His appearance is young, dark colored fur, particularly small for his race. Due to his stature he was a lightweight (still loves to drink though).
After I played a little i made another character which was a middle aged human woman with an ex military background, who went into the comparatively less dangerous job of mining after receiving injuries which hindered her ability to serve.
Her appearance is grizzled, with one of her eyes scarred from a previous injury in combat. She is disillusioned with her world after serving, but still attempts to put on an amicable, but noticeably tired, front.
What made you join Funky Station?: My first server was starlight, and I think it was fun, but from what ive gathered its out of the norm and very chaotic to play on very large servers. I want to experience the game in a smaller setting now that i have a better understanding of the game and all of its systems. Doing some research on servers, ive heard this server is highly praised and whitelisted so I thought it would be worthwhile to send in an application and try to play.
