Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!): Someone nice, diligent, and maybe a little loud (Reptilian named Screams-in-the-Halls). Doesn't matter if they're big or small. Maybe a little too nice for their own good, but not a pushover. My character would never take stuff lying down. Aside from when they're legally required to. More chalant and talkative than aloof for me because I like dialogue. Obviously not just because I like talking. It's just key for the kind of character I like playing.
Let's get specific. Maybe just characterize one of my LRP slots...
Let's look at Screams-in-the-Halls. First name Screams, last name Halls, is a stocky gray reptilian with white eyes and big lizard frills. He is the characterization of what my ideal character would be. A proud, loud, and polite cargonian with a stubborn diligence and faith in his work that rivals the QM's dedication to gambling ALL of the station funds away. 40 years old and still as spunky as he could be, he communicates with a fat front lisp and an almost stupid amount of optimism. He follows orders and requests to a T. Or as best as he can without getting himself or a peer killed. No shame in screaming when it does get to that point, which he usually just does on the regular. Screaming, I mean. He's honestly just happy to have a job. He's a very good example of a truly lizardbrained reptilian. Putting him in any other role aside from Cargo, or on occasion as a Bartender, would put the station in more danger than not.
What made you join Funky Station?: I've spent a fair amount of time in LRP. Not a lot of RP, a lot more work. I guess it's good for experience with the game mechanics. I want a feel for MRP, hopefully getting a piece of both RP and work. TWO CAKES!!! And the other MRP servers look excessive. No shade...
