Of course! One of the characters I've enjoyed the most has been Ember, a shadowkin bartender with a southern drawl. Some of the most interesting moments with her included:
When she arrived at the bar there was an anomalous portal. She was... Disconcerted, but mostly tried to ignore it. Eventually however the portal destabilised, and before she could flee she was teleported into the vacuum of space. She somehow managed to claw her way along the ship's hull until she reached the singularity core, being bombarded with the cold vacuum of space, the radiation of the singularity, and the bleeding from both things combined.
Thankfully, just after her death someone swooped in and rescued her, eventually the medics even brought her back to life, and she was shocked to see they weren't even too surprised at what had happened.
Of course that wasn't everything. Later the power in the station was completely wiped out, and Ember and her fellow bartender set up a few lights to make the bar a sort of unofficial gathering hub where even if they couldn't serve drinks (thanks to the power outage, and the two of them not particularly wanting to manually make all the drinks) they could give comfort.
Soon after the power was restored, there was another drastic event. A station invasion. Ember and her fellow bartender began rushing to the evac when Ember realised she didn't have a gun. She was escorted by the other bartender to the evac, and while they parted ways once reaching the emergency shuttle, I like to believe the two of them remained friends after that.
That was probably my most dramatic round so far, but one where I was playing an ICP janitor and almost immediately had her eyes ripped out by a clown monster was pretty horrifying as well. I had to be dragged to the engineering bay and have new eyes installed before I could do basically anything.
