Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!): I tend to fall into background roles a lot more often, much like a side character to another main story. My characters value knowledge and being 100% certain of something before they make a move, akin to a scientist preforming multiple experiments with tiny changes to the setting each time, or a detective combing over a site to gather as much information as possible. The exception to this is comedic characters such as those in "Clown" role, where my preference would be to play the role more akin to the Jesters of eld: Being an ally to the common people of the station while being a much needed reality check for management and leadership. A Bartender would be someone the common people could vent to while being blunt to the leadership should they fall into selfish loops.
As for Antagonistic roles, I still keep the light on my main role first to not rouse suspicion, and in many other social deduction scenarios, I have been able to slip away in the chaos as others begin to argue on who did what by remaining quiet and out of the way.
Despite my preference to be more off to the side, my characters also have very strong morals that tend to land them into the Chaotic Good alignment. They may not agree with many lawful interpolations as the law, for most of my characters, were the main reason they fell into the role they landed in to begin with. As such, many of these intelligent characters would essentially hang on to anarchist and "punk" ideals that benefit all people over the elites at the top, with the closer the role resembles "Clown", the louder of a punk they become.
What made you join Funky Station?: Hi I'm not new to roleplay (ESO, FFXIV) but I am new to SS14, and despite how confusing the game looks for new players, I've wanted to give it an honest try. I am aware of the difficulty curb and can learn the clunky controls on my own, but I am not shy about using OOC chat to get help if I require it. As for Funky Station, this is vanilla as best as it can be and I'd rather start in an SFW-only server to get a good feel for the game.
