Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!): I really enjoy playing a variety of characters, but I do really like to play ones that are polite and goodwilled, as basic as that sounds. They tend to branch out into different personalities/traits but I just enjoy being kind to others!

What made you join Funky Station?: I have played WizDen for a bit of time, and really want to branch out to other servers. Funky Station looks awesome since it looks to have a great community and I really want to try out MRP!

Hello! Yeah, of course, sorry for not describing a specific one in the initial post!
I've started to recently play a lizard named Hopes-the-Best (still deciding whether to stick to that name or not) who mostly fits the previous personality description I gave in the original post, being decently kind and good-willed, if a bit naive and blindly optimistic at times. While still not completely solid, the backstory that I have in mind for her is that she was orphaned in a planet in the outer edges that, while a bit chaotic, housed a community of well-natured and tight-knit scavengers that raised her and taught her good etiquette during the time, although some of their lessons didn't exactly transfer too well to the more civilized yet (for her at least) harsher life in space, thus sometimes creating awkward moments with others. Still a bit WIP, this is more of a rough draft of the idea still but I like the broader idea :D
As for her looks, I'm imagining her to be slightly scruffy in appearance overall. I'm still messing with her appearance to get some colors and such right, but the main thing with her is her frills, which I do like making expressive and based on her mood/emotions, such as lowering when upset or timid and raising or shaking slightly when happy/excited. I find it slightly charming and I find it fun to roleplay in the game! (just gotta get better at typing faster)
