Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!): I tend to play a variety of characters and will always try to tailor them somewhat to at least believably fit a role or position they are in. So for example somebody highly untrustworthy likely wouldn't be a HoS (you'd hope) even if it would make for a potentially interesting dynamic. One personality "type" I do enjoy however would be someone with dubious morals and insatiable curiosity who has no qualms with doing whatever it takes to further their own goals. Think the mad scientist who is hopelessly brilliant and their genius allows them some potential leeway and to gain a position at NanoTrasen as a researcher. Even if it is to the discomfort of their co-workers or bored assistants. Of course anything would remain within the rules of the server, but I believe eccentric and colourful characters like that can be interesting to roleplay with and be fun to roleplay as. A specific example of a character I have played back in SS13 fit this mould as a Robotocist and she viewed borgs with far greater kindness and compassion than she did her actual co-workers!
What made you join Funky Station?: A friend recommended it to me for the potential quality of RP which I find can be a bit lacking on the other servers I've tried so far. I am fairly new to SS14 after finally branching out from SS13.
