Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!):
I quite enjoyed my time as Lasrack of Verdunamar, local Conjuration Wizard of a pair of DnD servers a few years ago. Young and yet excentric and aloof like the older wizards tend to get with the thrown wrench of being easily fixated in an objective, normally to build or do something crazy with few moral qualms and when power got to his head with fewer qualms about other's opinion. This inevitably lead to being a center figure in the politics of wherever he was found at the time, where he delighted in the attention, and frequently found himself found and adopted by companions drawn by the mage's objective's and roll with the punches attitude. The kind of guy you love to annoy and tease, help or hinder, and a peculiar choice for a straight man in the duo comedy pastiche due to the fun in keeping the serious or amused face as the unhinged happens.
But of course that's DnD, it lends to the stuff, for SS14 you can expect my characters to be another cog in the machine as it is something I very much enjoy being. Small aspirations doing something out of duty with a tendency to get sidetracked. Maybe in the future when I have more experience I can lean in on the technical dork or steel cold agent I gravitate towards without it looking ridiculous.
What made you join Funky Station?:
I have a friend there that spoke to me about the game, Landstrider, and specifically this server he played. It piqued my interest enough to want to play with him. Or alone.
