Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!):
As this will be my introduction into SS14, coming from SS13, I would share my character Xantha, the mad scientist, in a medieval setting. They are what most would consider a walking corpse with flesh peeling off and scars all over their body. In this scientist role, they are a part of a sect worshipping the goddess of medicine, decay and plagues. This makes them want to, on one hand, heal and stitch up the people but also worship their diseases and wounds, making them ever curious and, due to their odd ways, a sort of outcast in society. I enjoy playing them as I, on the one hand, can actually help people in game and play out an odd role, spicing up the townscape from all the normal and good-looking people with a rotting corpse.
What made you join Funky Station?:
I watched a lot of AcornANut and love that Funky seems to actually embody MRP and be a place to actually RP without some tider going around wordlessly fragging anyone who looks at them strangely. This is further supported by me coming from HRP standards from SS13, which will make it easier to get into it rather than joining LRP and being overwhelmed by someone called John the Butcher who gibbs and eats me as a self antag. I was also convinced by the good feedback on ahelp which I kind of got used to on the other server I played on, which also had competent admin management.
